Erin Abberfield from Morgan Street Public School in Broken Hill recently exchanged teaching positions with a teacher from the United Kingdom. Erin says her international teacher exchange experience changed her life. "Doing something you know how to do well, but in a different place teaches you more than you could possibly imagine…Satisfying the bite of the travel bug while doing a job I love was incredible." After returning from her exchange experience, Erin said "I have so much more to give to my school community and the students I teach. It’s hard work, but a teaching exchange really is an opportunity of a lifetime!" Read more about Erin’s exchange experience and find out how other exchange participants benefited from their experiences.
To apply for an international teacher exchange to commence in 2016, complete and submit the application form and Principal Reference Form by Friday 19 December 2014.
We look forward to receiving your applications. In the meantime, if you require further information, visit the international teacher exchange webpage, teacher exchange Facebook page or email the Exchange Programs team.
