Welcome to the Creative and Performing Arts!

student artworksThe Creative and Performing Arts faculty at Kogarah High School is an extensive faculty with highly trained and motivated teachers who enjoy seeing creativity flourish.

Within this Creative Arts Key Learning Area (KLA), we offer the subjects of Drama, Music, Visual Design, Visual Arts, Photographic and Digital Media, Photography,Video and Digital Imaging, 2D Studies, Ceramics.

The Creative Arts caters for all students and we firmly believe that all students are capable of achieving great things in our KLA. We excite, engage and extend our students within the arts, achieving strong academic and personal outcomes. Our students are creative, solve problems, investigate their world and produce strong, subjective works, in a range of performance and visual media areas.

Students at Kogarah High School undertake mandatory study in the Creative Arts within the Year 7 and Year 8 curriculum (Stage 4).

For Years 9 & 10 (Stage 5) and Years 11 & 12 (Stage 6), students can elect a course, or courses of study, from a range of courses offered.
